# NFL Preseason Rankings API

## What This Does
Model-driven 2026 NFL preseason fantasy football rankings. Covers QB, RB, WR, and TE.
Pay-per-use via x402 (USDC on Base). No account, no API key required.

## Free Endpoints (no payment)
- GET /v1/health — API status and data version
- GET /v1/free/players — Full player directory: all player_id values with names, positions, teams
- GET /v1/free/rankings/top1 — Top-ranked player at each position (QB/RB/WR/TE) with projected FP/game
- GET /v1/free/meta — Metadata and paid endpoint catalog
- GET /v1/discovery/resources — Machine-readable x402 price manifest

## Paid Endpoints (x402, USDC on Base mainnet eip155:8453)
- GET /v1/rankings/preseason — Full 552-player rankings, 19 fields per player ($1.00 USDC)
  - Query params: position (QB|RB|WR|TE), limit (optional cap; omit for the full list), min_confidence (0-1), accept (csv)
- GET /v1/rankings/preseason/{player_id} — Single player projection row ($0.10 USDC)
- GET /v1/draft-board/half-ppr — VOR draft board (0.5 PPR), floor/ceiling/sigma tier ($1.00 USDC)
  - Query params: position (QB|RB|WR|TE), limit (optional cap; omit for the full board), tier (int), accept (csv)
- GET /v1/draft-board/half-ppr/{player_id} — Single player half-PPR draft slot ($0.10 USDC)
- GET /v1/draft-board/full-ppr — VOR draft board (1 PPR), floor/ceiling/sigma tier ($1.00 USDC)
  - Query params: position (QB|RB|WR|TE), limit (optional cap; omit for the full board), tier (int), accept (csv)
- GET /v1/draft-board/full-ppr/{player_id} — Single player full-PPR draft slot ($0.10 USDC)
- POST /v1/bundle/purchase — 14-day unlimited access JWT, best value ($3.00 USDC)
  - One payment covers your whole draft window; also unlocks the draft kit ZIP (both VOR boards + VOR-vs-ADP playbook + AI-drivable draft-night companion tool)
  - Pass returned token as Authorization: Bearer <token> for unlimited access

## How x402 Works
1. Call any paid endpoint without a payment-signature header
2. Receive HTTP 402 with Payment-Required header containing USDC payment details
3. Sign and broadcast the payment using an EIP-3009 USDC transfer on Base
4. Retry the call with the payment-signature header
5. Receive data

- Players: 552 (QB/RB/WR/TE)
- Refresh cadence: weekly (Sundays preseason; Tuesdays + Sundays in-season)
- Scoring: standard ESPN/Yahoo fantasy (QB pass TD = 4 pts, skill positions standard)
